Tindlewick
Tindlewick is a cosy pinball game set in a snowbound toy workshop. Nim, a round mouse toymaker in a striped apron, brings three little clockwork tables back to life, and every mission you finish changes its table for good: lanterns glow, a train or a sky wheel turns, a clock tower wakes, the toys start dancing, a second bridge opens and a toy parade lights up. A finished table looks richer than a new one.
The physics are fair on every device. The game runs on a fixed 240 Hz simulation with swept collisions, so a fast ball never slips through a flipper or a wall and the table plays the same at 30, 60 or 144 frames per second. Every launch has a nine-second ball save, a ball that stops moving for three seconds gets a gentle push, a visible warmth meter shows how far you can nudge, and the outlanes are clearly marked OUT, with no hidden drains.
Free demo (play it in your browser above)
The whole first table, Lantern Line, with all six of its missions, relaxed mode with unlimited balls, the daily wonder, three daily quests, the workshop journal with its stats and stamps, and four workshop items (copper marble, mint comet trail, fern flippers and the guardian lantern helper). Your progress is saved in your browser. Locked content opens a short "Get the full game" panel.
Full game (download)
- Three tables, each with its own layout, centrepiece and look: Lantern Line (a clock tower and a looping train), Cloudclock Grove (flower bumpers and a turning sky wheel) and Hushbell Atelier (bell bumpers and a musicbox stage). Each has its own ramp, moon bridge, saucer, spinner and orbit; the outer rails and flippers are shared
- 18 missions in all, six per table (the demo has the first six). Restore three missions on a table to open the next one
- Multiball from the cuckoo saucer, a combo meter, two extra balls at 45,000 and 90,000 points, a counted-up end-of-ball bonus, slingshots, spinners and a ball-save slow-motion moment
- A daily wonder (one table, one rule and one target score for the day, the same for everyone), relaxed mode, three daily quests, five initialled high scores per table and 34 journal stamps
- Nim's workbench: tickets earned in play buy nine cosmetic items and helpers (two ball skins, two trails, two flipper colours, blue-hour lamps, a longer launch save and a starting combo). No purchases inside the game
- Keyboard, touch and phone play: whole table visible in portrait and landscape, left and right halves of the table hold the flippers, two fingers work together
- Original music and all sound effects are synthesized in the game, with switches for music, sound, screen shake and gentle motion. Plays offline: unzip and open index.html in your browser. No ads
Controls
Flippers: Z or Left arrow or Left Shift, and M or Right arrow or Right Shift. Plunger: hold Space and release. Nudge: N. P or Esc pauses (and closes any panel).
Touch: touch the left or right half of the table to hold that flipper, hold the launch button and release, swipe up or tap Nudge.
